William J. Barry

William J. Barry earned his BA in English from Florida International University in Miami and his M.Ed from Texas State University-San Marcos, where he is now pursuing his PhD in Developmental Education with a focus on developmental literacy.

His primary research interests include theoretical and applied issues relevant to the constructive use of technology for academic work, especially among students in transitional college roles. Full CV HERE.

Debi Martin

Debi Martin is finishing her MA in Rhetoric and Composition this year at Texas State University. Her interests include using online journalism, popular cultural and digital literacies to engage nontraditional students enrolled in First Year Composition courses. She's taught Developmental Writing and Journalism as an adjunct instructor at Austin Community College. She's also an independent feature writer whose works have been published in McCall's, Teen, Civilization, The Advocate, The Houston Chronicle, The Austin Chronicle, and The Austin American-Statesman. Caroline Richardson

Caroline Richardson earned her BA in English from Texas State University in San Marcos in 2012, where she is currently pursuing her MA in Rhetoric and Composition at Texas State. Her interests and research topics include user-center design, usability testing, multimodel/multiliteracy tutoring and teaching, writing centers, and disability studies.
